THRILL of life - Get busy living or Get busy dying...

After a long time I get time from hectic (enjoyable though) schedule to write about which I thought of long back. It’s about a time when I first time saw a movie “Shawshank Redeemption” and heard a single statement which came out as title of this blog – “Get busy living or Get busy dying”.
This is about you, me and everyone who have joined some organization recently/few years back, leaving the comfort of your homes (or in some cases discomfort), to become something in your life. I am sure it feels boring to some fellows and for others it has been exciting to move towards achieving goals.

But Question to those who are excited towards goals is – forever? Till the end of life??

There is always a time in life when person is truly overjoyed – THRILLED in better words. U say it first day in new school/college or Organization - when you were getting ready, you felt ecstasy in your heart. Hell lot of Curiosity about new things coming a ways and enliven to unfold folded things. It’s thrill which I call as THE THRILL within we all that makes us feel truly ALIVE every day. To ask you is – how will you keep this THRILL shining? Or to put it another way, how to be happy most - if not all the time?

Where do these THRILL comes from? I think we all born with THRILL in us. Little children have a million THRILLS when little chocolate or toy can make them jump. They get THRILLS from creaky swings in the park. They do a daily countdown for birthday party – several months in advance – just for the day they will cut their own birthday cake.People running here and there for daily bread and I can see is only “THRILLS” keeping them feel alive.

But when I see older people, the THRILL is difficult to find. Recently I went to barber shop where I met one OLDER man who almost had experience of ~70-75 years life. It pinched my heart when I could not see this THRILL in that DUDE. I could hear from him that “he has lived enough and now he was ready to fly away leaving beautiful life gifted by GOD”. That said – now he does not love his life. In-fact as we age, the THRILL fades. People whose THRILL has faded too much are dull, dejected, aimless and bitter.

I did not get chance to ask why his THRILL is lost to that OLD guy, but I could only say him “You have not completed century Sir-ji”. Intentionally I used word: Sir-ji – I must mention. This was all I could do on that moment. It also reminded me Kareena in Jab we Met - in the first half vs the second half. That is what happens when the THRILL is lost. Instantly I asked myself if it will happen to me also. How would I save my THRILL? And all I come out with finest answers to this biggest question of my/your/everyone’s life.

Answer:
THRILL is like open FLAME. You have to feed it continuously and you have to guard against storms. To feed – we all have to have goals/never ending hope/unbreakable spirit. Try for it; try for it until you have it. However, never keep your goal to achieve something rather always have goal to do better every time u put new try. It is human nature when he gives try and cannot achieve fruitful out of it, he gets tired and fears to put new try again – but they normally forget is the point where they feel tired, they are losing their THRILL; they are cutting down their THRILL and why to do that?Just because they are tired? I used word Unbreakable SPIRIT – nobody born with it, It’s we who can nurture this SPIRIT. It’s our positive thinking; it’s our attitude that can change it. Few years back I got one SMS which is more worthy than you expect it to be: “If you want to achieve something which u never had, you have to do SOMETHING you never did”. This SOMETHING is nothing but giving a new try which u never did in past. NEW that said Complete NEW.

Success is to put a new try, strive, improve and achieve next level. Success is not Company paying you 7 lac per annum, neither its buying car nor house. Do you really believe buying Bungalows/Car/7 lac package is the purpose of life? If that was the case, Bill gates won't be working hard to make a better Windows, as he already have billions and billions of dollars. Neither Shahrukh nor Aamir would be working to get new challenging roles. Why do they do it? What makes them come to work everyday? They do it because it makes them feel ALIVE and they do not want to lose THRILL of life. They want to be busy in being ALIVE not being NON-LIVING. Just getting better from current levels feels good. You already know that you cannot become Tendulkar still you play cricket to achieve next level of expertise. Striving for that next level is most, most and super most important. Goal is to achieve next level in career, academic or any activity u take on hand – in short.

One more thing about feeding THE THRILL - don't take life seriously. I learned this from one Yoga Guru. When I used to go Gym 6 months back, my yoga teacher used to make students laugh during classes using dirty jokes(Non-veg jokes in better word ;)). One student asked her if these dirty jokes would take away something from the yoga practice. The teacher said - don't be serious,All you want to achieve from Yoga in the end is happiness and that's what my jokes are doing.

Normally people take it on serious track, when somebody criticizes their creation. My closest friend named Deepen (Don’t open your eyes wide Deepen if you are reading ;) :P), normally criticize or gets angry when I do not play TT well. He neither likes my service nor the way I copy/adopt other’s playing style. But will that anger or criticism break my spirit of enjoying TT? No – never. This criticism will not/must not blow my THRILL up. As I said may be I cannot be Deepen(Tendulkar) but I will reach my next level.

Eventually - It’s common human nature of not able to see good going of others (not talking about you Deepen – Relax, if you are reading :P). Today I write something, they will like it but they will also get jealous how I couldn’t write such things. They will start making criticism to overcome their jealousy (to strive for better criticism is also common human nature now a days :P :D ;) ). Some will say it’s copied from somewhere – he cannot write this and I will Question myself – did I really write that bad? I will be serious losing my THRILL and will write better but again I will have is Criticism. Normally we get dual opinions on our actions (it’s about all activities we do – Drawing, joking, writing, daily fun-masti, Work at office or anything). There is plenty of praise; there is intense criticism as well. My/Your BOSS will clap for good work and will condemn if we did it wrong. Be sincere towards your work but don’t hinder your spark by getting serious about it like “ohhhhh god my boss dint like it, what will happen in my appraisal?” – Damn f#&k it. If we will take it all seriously, how will we move forward? Or rather, how will we live? Where is our personal enjoyment? Life is never meant to be taken seriously. Life is very short if u really can see it. Start countdown Nowwwwwww. Get busy living or get busy dying. Final call is - BE HAPPY GO PERSON for all time.

CONVERSATION with GOD : 1

Reading has imparted a portion of my life and it continues with highest interest when I come across Book with utmost wisdom.

Let me begin with THE BOOK – Conversation with God – was THE INTERNATIOAL BESTSELLER of 1997.

“CONVERSATION with GOD” is not a thrilling masterpiece but sure it is Magical work of genius. It has all as content which may create magic in your life helping you changing your attitude towards it moreover the way you look/think/talk/act/react towards being including yourself.

Some FACTS about THE BOOK:
1. Book really needs reader with gigantic mind to capture at least 10% image of it.
2. Book is not breathtaking or exciting but it is Awe-inspiring.
3. Uncommon dialogues which never ever had been found before.
4. This book is for reader with Open Mind, Limitless curiosity and severe desire to seek truth about life.

PLOT :
Suppose you could make GOD part of your everyday life and you could ask questions about LOVE, FAITH, LIFE, DEATH, GOOD, EVIL – and God answers in a way that you could truly understand (or try to understand until you understand).

Neale Donald Walsch(author of book) asks questions which we may have encountered frequently but never cared to find answers nor we give thought on them. Some people may have tried and never got a way around.
E.g. If Sex is so powerful and magnificent, why it’s regarded as shameful act?

After writing down all of his questions, he heard a voice over his right shoulder say: "Do you really want an answer to all these questions or are you just venting?" Though when he turned around he saw no one there, Walsch felt answers to his questions filling his mind and decided to write them down. The ensuing dialogue became the Conversations with God books.

THE ANSWERS to the questions – will amaze you with complex paradoxes that make perfect sense, profound logic and astounding truths. Here are answers that bring together as one the deeper meaning of all beliefs and traditions. Here are answers which’ll change you and your life.


GLITCHES:
Some people may found some concepts repeated over and again. What I feel of this repetition is just a connection to support truth explained. Moreover, The Language of the book is far sturdy than you found in any hand-on novel - which needs high concentration of reader.

THE BOOK supposedly is biased in leading the reader to a specific point of view contradicting THE BIBLE. The book asks controversial questions about sexuality and moral issues, perhaps leading children in a particular direction about important social issues with which certain people disagree.Hence, there are instances where you might not able to catch the delivered responses and there are instances where you may reject them or disregard them – HOWEVER truth is not easy to accept what I believe is 


WHY TO READ?
"To live life with highest and purest truth" is single and enough reason - I'll say.

FINAL WORD:
Believe or not above verdict is much more worthy than you ever can expect it to be.
Have some precious time for this master work. You won’t regret it – if you seek for sense of life. I have already started with Conversation with God: II 

3 Idiots

3-Idiots is 100/100 movie just because 100 is the maximum One can give out of 100 :) Do I need to say more?

Expectation and hype goes at highest altitude with Aamir Khan’s movies. His movies has proved again and again to audience in past. But this master piece is exceptional among all his till date movies. Yes, you heard right. 3-Idiot is far greater than Dil Chahta he at fun,comparatively thought provoking as was Taaren Jameen Par and more attractive than any other of Aamir’s till date work. Aamir is huge piece of movie for sure, though actual Hero is Rajkumar Irani. Lets look at, why?

Plot:

Raju(Sharman Joshi) is one of such fearful student from poor family, who want to get good job anyhow after completion of Engineering to heal family problems. Farhaan(R. Madhwan) joins him as a Room mate in college hostel, who also wants to live up to his family’s expectation.

Movie leads you straight through engineering life which is tough just because it’s been made tough. How students keeps mugging up to get grades, how they afraid of exams, how they pass their education and fails their life - all drama is displayed in stylist way.Moreover with each and every execution you can easily recall and relive your life of Engineering. Execution of this subject is enormously excellent.

However, movie takes its unstoppable acceleration when Rancho enters in college.

Rancho (Aamir Khan) is new student of ICE Engineering college, who has his own indivisible beliefs for education. He is not able to fit in the traditional way of education methods.

Rancho, Raju and Farhaan shares a room and becomes room partners. Rancho wants to change thinking of his room mates cum friends but barrier is their family conditions.

How Rancho gets in bond with them, changes the way of living life of these two friends and how he helps completing dreams of theirs - is all movie about.

Parallelly love story between Pia(Kareena Kapoor) and Rancho is also top-notch to give complete look to well planned and well directed movie.

Moreover the movie is about giving unbreakable thought to audiences.

First half of movie directly puts you on 9^th cloud. Some of the most impacted sequences never let you rest out of laughing.

• The way Rancho explains about “Machine” in class room
• Ragging part in hostel.
• Omi’s speech where Chamatkar is replaced by Balatkar.
• First meeting with Pia.
• Dinner at Raju’s home.

When 1^st part has lived far above audience’s expectations, expectations from second part goes high. Exceedingly talented Rajkumar Irani’s script lives up to expectation in second half as well. Speed of movie does not loses its momentum at single place. Moreover second half is more powerfully and brilliantly executed with fun, emotion, talent and enlightenment. Second half brings you powerful impact with sequences which includes,

• Sequence at Simla with Ranchod Das.
• Raju’s suicide attempt and recovery.
• Pia’s outburst at his father.
• Handling Pregnancy of Pia’s Sister
• Raju’s interview and Farhaan’s photography dream accomplishment.
• Farhaan and Raju @Pia’s wedding.
• Secret of Rancho’s original identity.

To Cut Long story in short "All iz well well well well well well and simply well".

Why 100/100?

• Exceptional Script.
• Expletive punches of humor.
• Thought provoking touch.
• Music for Mango people (Aam Janta).
• Friendship Orientation.
• Sparkling performances.

Exceptional Script:

Rarely do you come across a script which bounds you tight enough to forget all other world around you. Rajkumar Irani who already attested his efficiency in writing script before in Munna bhai MBBS and Lage Raho munna bhai, has come again with 3-Idiots to show what is million words worthy. Rajkumar Irani’s scripts is impeccable.

Expletive punches of humor:

Honestly putting up words to say, you never had in past, a movie with no. of hard hitting humor trenches in which you fall, get up and fall and get up again and again. Dialogues are A* rated , no second doubt on that when it comes to Comic.

Thought provoking touch:

Base of the movie is to ignite talent of child which stays burning in mind rather to say in heart of every parent. The level of thought invocation can be compared with Taaren Jameen Par. How a child must be treated with one’s interest and talent is what you come out with, after show. On conclusion it teaches, Life is all about listening to your heart and chasing your dreams.

Music for Mango people (Aam Janta).

Music is hilarious at various points, attention grasping lyrics and moreover soothing at much parts of movie. It would be wise to say it’s totally Mango people music which has combination of all what Aam Janata needs. Additionally the placement of songs is top-notch. “All is well” is already hyped before release and most entertaining on display. “Grow up once again” is well placed and contains lyrics which burst into flames in mind. “Jane tuje Denge nahi” is heart pinching. “Jubi Doobi” is equally sweet and lovable.

Friendship orientation:

Movie scores highest at all below sequences which describes bond of 3 friends.

• The way Rancho helps Raju’s father and Raju’s apology with him.
• Raju’s suicide attempt for saving Rancho.
• Sequence from Raju’s accident and to his recovery.
• Rancho waking up dreams of Farhan and Raju.
• Stealing papers of exams.
• Farhan and Raju re-bonding Rancho and his love.

Moreover each and every efforts Rancho makes to help his friends, are clap worthy.

This trio already has worked together in Rang De Basanti, yet 3-Idiots truly and proficiently bonds them which may remind many people days of their college or hostel life.

Sparkling Performances:

Aamir Khan: Aamir as Rancho is heart of the movie. He's been portrayed such a way, you will fall in love with this Idiot more than 100 times in 2:45 hours. Though he delivers his perfection in each of his movie, it would be worth to say till date he had shown only small part of his talent supremacy. Performance is more hilarious than he’d done in Dil Chahta he, more powerful than what he exhibited in Taaren Jameen par, more perfect than he did in Gajini.

In one sentence, this movie can never be, should never be and also hasn’t been thought without him. With this performance he’s most powerful competent for 2009 awards!!

R. Madhwan : Debut with most likable character in “Rehna Hai tere Dil me” and now he’s back again. Though Rancho takes major part of movie on his shoulders, Farhan is equally competent. Extremely skilled this south Indian actor has won your heart before, but this time he has marked his return in Bollywood. He’s able to complement both Characters in movie brilliantly.

Sharman Joshi: Sharman Joshi is the one who makes you spell bound in emotional sequences. He’s actor who has made 100% fair to his character. He has enacted comic elements brightly as well. No doubt, he is one of finest actor from all perspectives.

Boman Irani : Boman as Virus of ICE college has presented a performance which strikes to your mind awfully. This does not only show the potential of tremendously skilled actor but also exhibits how to deliver best of one’s potential as well. Boman is superior, incredible and fantastic at his part.

Special notation must be given to slang he works with through out the movie.

Kareena Kapoor : Though she’s parted with limited role, she is effective at parts which comes to her naturally. On screen she looks beautiful and confident as always.

Conclusion:

Do yourself a favor - Go and Watch it. Movie worths more than you can spend for it. It is entertaining, emotional, enlightening !!
